Primary roles of the Committee

-
Raise funds through Friends membership, donations, events and legacies.
-
In agreement with the National Trust, use these funds to support their budgets and pay for improvements on the Commons.
-
Meet regularly with National Trust ranger team to advise on all aspects of management plans and local issues.
-
Act as the local 'eyes and ears' of the National Trust and help to promote goodwill.
-
Send Friends the newsletter Commons Link.

Any funds we receive, either through donations, fundraising events or legacies, remain under the direct control of the Ludshott Committee and the National Trust Ludshott Team, and will therefore be spent locally to provide extra facilities and equipment for the ranger team on the Common.
They are not used for other properties within the National Trust.
